I would like ot build a site which can read & post:1. Newsgroups or usenet posts from some usenet server2. Mailing list emails You are free to use any software package you wish. However I hope that you are familiar with newsgroup settings & pop3 kind of email setting for mailing list. Choice is urs.Here is a site I find very close to what I want: dsprelated.com , they can read newsgroups and mailing lists.For mailing lists I will be using gmail to store my mails, so read gmails pop3 access guidelines if you need to.I have a install of vbulletin on which we can easily add http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=92588 if required. However you need to spend time configuring it. (if you choose to go vbulletin route).
